Quiet Things Happen, 2006, oil on board, 11 x 26 inches Lisa Lindgren's Website
Lisa Lindgren’s artwork is inspired by nature. Her paintings are a culmination of abstract elements, plants and animal like hybrids that habitat perhaps in a deep underwater world or somewhere that defies gravity. The work evokes a dream like disposition, a peaceful contemplation.

Lisa Lindgren is originally from Florida and has been living and working in Brooklyn, New York since 2001. She completed her MFA at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst (2001), and received a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Florida in Gainesville (1999).
